SmartyPants Rat Terriers is located in Raleigh, North Carolina.

I'm the animal fanatic of our family--can't get enough reading, observing, learning, training. When I'm not being a Technical Editor, I'm a breeder of Rat Terriers and Kangal Dogs, all UKC-registered conformation champions. I also teach dog-training classes at Teamworks as well as privately. My passions include clicker training (especially tricks), canine Agility, and the latest... Rally Obedience. I love all things canine, and hope one day to be 'doing dogs' full time! ---Sue

Tell me what you're looking for in a dog. I'm also happy to talk on the phone--after 5 on most evenings and any time on the weekend.

We are not a large kennel and we do not have puppies available year-round. We breed each litter carefully, when we feel that good homes are assured, and we maintain a waiting list for our puppies.
